A broad view of the complexities of architectural design including issues related to research, programming, context, site, spatial organization, structure, environmental systems and tectonics. Students will assimilate these issues through design, addressing verbal, writing, graphic and critical thinking skills.

This semester will focus on living – what shapes, contextualizes, and surfaces it. This semester will address all of this and more through various scales ranging from city, program, building, space, detail, and subject.
